What is My Workbench?

My Workbench is a maker-first app built around projects, not throwaway posts. Instead of everything getting buried in a chaotic feed, you create a Workbench profile and start individual builds:

Project timelines, not one-off posts

Each build gets its own timeline—WIP shots, bench notes, and final images—so you can actually see how a project came together over time.

Made for our corner of the hobby

Dioramas, custom figures, 3D prints, toy photos, paint jobs, kitbashes—everything is labeled and structured for builders, not generic social content.

Finished work earns a frame

When you mark a project finished, it earns a visual “gold frame” on your Workbench so your completed pieces stand out from the in-progress chaos.

Why I built My Workbench

I’ve been in the toy and diorama world long enough to know the pain:

Your best work disappears in 24 hours Algorithms you can’t control Finished builds mixed with random life posts

I wanted a place where makers could be their weird, creative selves without competing with recipes, gym selfies, and clickbait. My Workbench is my answer: a focused space for builders, customizers, and toy photographers who care about process, materials, and storytelling.

How it’s different from social media

  • Project-first instead of feed-first. Your builds live in ordered timelines.
  • Bench Notes keep quick updates inside your project log, not thrown away after 24 hours.
  • Private progress, public results—share as much or as little of the journey as you want.
